The group was formed in 1994 and, since then, they have
sold over 75 million records with 4 albums and 12 singles, making them the best selling girl group of all time and topping the charts in over fifty-three countries.
After Geri's departure, on 31 May 1998, the group released the 3rd studio album, Forever, but in December 2000 they unofficially announced that they were breaking up.
On 28 June 2007, the group held a press conference at The O2 in London, formally announcing their intention to reunite. Ticket sales for the first London date of 'The Return of the Spice Girls' World Tour sold out in 38 seconds.
They are currently working on 'Viva Forever: The Musical' with Judy Craymer and Jennifer Saunders.
