Personal Life: She has been in a relationship with Thomas Starr since 2002 and she's mother of a baby girl, Scarlet.

Other Projects: In 2009 she performed the role of Mrs Johnstone in the musical 'Blood Brothers' in London's West End. She performed the role for 6 months and reprises it for a limited 2 week engagement at the Liverpool Empire Theatre in November 2010.
Melanie is currently promoting her new album The Sea across the Europe.
